I have a 3G iPhone. I love it as a mobile computer, but I have occasional issues with the phone element of the device (calls going straight to voice mail, text messages sent/received hours later, unable to get a reliable signal, etc.). The issues aren't frequent, but they do happen. After two years, many falls, and the occasional visit into my baby son's mouth, the computing device has recently become less responsive. I'm now in the market for a new smartphone.
There are many options out there, but I've narrowed my selection down to two devices: iPhone 4 on AT&T or HTC Evo 4G on Sprint. Both seem like great choices, but I'm undecided. I've come across three comparisons of the two phones:
* Wired
* Lifehacker
* CNET
It's close. It seems like the iPhone 4 might be slightly better for my needs, but the Sprint network might be more reliable.
